Door Types

20 gauge lock seam - for light duty commercial/industrial applications
18 gauge lock seam - for medium duty commercial/industrial applications
16 gauge lock seam - for heavy duty commercial/industrial applications
16 gauge weld seam - for extra heavy duty commercial/industrial applications

Core Types

Honeycomb - Doors are lock-seam and fabricated with high density expanded cell honeycomb cardboard laminated under pressure to face sheets. This is the standard choice for interior applications.

Polystyrene - Doors are lock-seam and fabricated with a single sheet of rigid polystyrene laminated under pressure to face sheets. This is an excellent choice for exterior applications (R-Value 6.5) or where some extra rigidity and durability are required. Polystyrene cores offer impact resistance and some sound-reduction qualities.

Polyurethane - Doors are lock-seam and fabricated with a single sheet of rigid polyurethane laminated under pressure to face sheets. This is an excellent choice for exterior applications (R-Value 11) or where some extra rigidity and durability are required. Polyurethane cores offer impact resistance and even greater sound-reduction qualities than polystyrene cores.

Steel Stiffened - Doors are lock-seam and fabricated with full-length vertical box-stiffeners laminated under pressure to face sheets. Voids are filled with fibreglass insulation. Steel stiffened cores are an excellent choice where the main concerns are durability, security and exceptional longevity.

For extra heavy duty applications, weld-seam doors with full-length welded vertical interlocking steel stiffeners and fully welded lap-seams are an excellent option that will offer unequalled and permanent durability and longevity.
